Global Green Growth Week is an annual event administered by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) that highlights examples of solutions that can combat climate change and advance the implementation of the Paris Agreement.
Global Green Growth Week 2022 is being held in Egypt from the 24th to 28th October 2022 in the lead up to COP27 and this year’s theme is “unlocking the potential of green growth and climate finance innovations”.
Moerk Water’s African business development manager will be presenting on our approach to implementing solar powered water treatment in Africa and the key strategies that need to be implemented for it to be a success long term. Our presentation is titled “Sustainable Solar-Powered Water Treatment in Africa: An iterative and training based approach” and will be part of the session “Climate Smart Technology: What are the innovations we need for tackling the climate crisis?”. This session will be held on the 24th October from 13:00-14:30 GMT.
