Moerk assisted GIZ promoting the development and implementation of their climate change policy in Thailand by training them through a series of framework conditions in renewable energy and energy efficiency. We also gave them insights into possible technical solutions and best practice examples for selected scenarios in other regions. GIZ is working alongside the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) in Thailand to implement long-term solutions to climate change.
Johannes Puy, then Business Unit Manager for Moerk Water Solutions, made recommendations on ways to reach their key aims, time frames, expected costs and the necessary institutional set-ups for the implementation of their projects.
The program was launched by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety. (BMUB)
