Moerk Water’s humanitarian work across the Asia-Pacific region was recently profiled in the West Australia-German Business Association’s (WAGBA) InTouch Newsletter. This newsletter is released quarterly and aims to keep its members and the broader community abreast the strong ties between Germany and Western Australia . This includes profiling its members and their successes.

Moerk Water are proud members of WAGBA given our strong German roots with both of the founding directors being of German extraction. However Moerk Water is a proudly Australian company with all of our systems constructed here in Australia. As such, our water treatment systems have achieved Australian Made certification.

The article outlines Moerk Water’s humanitarian work across the Asia-Pacific region over the last 15 years. Moerk Water has been particularly active securing community water supplies in both East Africa and Pacific Island Countries. The article links to one of Moerk Water’s projects in Vanuatu – the island community of Uripiv in Malekula province. This community was becoming increasingly water stressed due to changing weather conditions. With the provision of one of Moerk Water’s solar powered community seawater plants, the water supply of the community has been secured for over 7 years now.
