The National Hydrogen Industry Technical Masterclass is an initiative run in collaboration between Engineers Australia, The Australian Institute of Energy and The Hydrogen Society of Australia. In 2024, the masterclass was held in Perth, Western Australia from the 13th to 15th of February.
The masterclass included information sessions on electrolytic, gaseous and liquid hydrogen as well as hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen combustion and green hydrogen. Presenters came from across Australia and attendees were from the private and public sectors. The event was well attended with more than 50 attendees.
Moerk Water Solutions, in addition to sponsoring the event, delivered an information session on the best technologies used to create the water quality required for hydrogen electrolysers and how these systems are designed. In addition to the information session, the Moerk Water factory was one of four site visits that formed the final session of the technical masterclass (the other site visits being ATCO, Hazer and PAC).
The event was a big success with the broad topics covered and the wide background of all of the attendees allow for a free exchange of ideas. Moerk Water was proud to be a partner in this event.
